Abstract
In this thesis, the heat conduction behavior and the thermoelectric property of the nano/micro structure is studied, which focuses on the transport characteristic and thermoelectric effect of the heat carrier on the nano/micro structure. Heat carrier may be contributed by magnon, phonon as well as electron. Since the nano/micro structure has vastly different heat conduction characteristic when compared to bulk material, mainly due to its dimension, degree of impurity and the size of the grains are close to the mean free path of the heat carrier, hence the heat conduction characteristic can be altered by different sizes or shapes of the structure, as well as by applying an external magnetic field.
