Abstract

熱脫附 氣相層析法 揮發性有機化合物 thermal desorption gas chromatography VOC
Thermal desorption-gas chromatography is an analytical method for volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds. The principle of thermal desorption-gas chromatography is to use the adsorbent to adsorb target compounds and to desorb at higher temperature. Some interference including adsorbent, temperature, flow rate, breakthrough volume, cold focus, and humidity can influence the performance of thermal desorption-gas chromatography. With suitable pretreatment, thermal desorption-gas chromatography can be used for the analysis of samples in different media including gas, liquid, and solid. In the application of gas medium analysis, a thermal desorption-gas chromatographic method is developed to analyze vinyl chloride in work place. The method can replace traditional solvent extraction method with better recovery and reproductively. In the application of liquid analysis, a thermal desorption-gas chromatographic method is developed for its higher sensitivity. The method can analyze organic compounds with sub-ppb level in milk. In the application of solid analysis, a special thermal desorption chamber with thermal desorption-gas chromatograph is developed for the micro-contamination analysis in industrial process. The method can be used for the analysis of trace organic compounds on the surface of wafers. Thermal Desorption-Gas Chromatography is a safe, convenient, economic, fast, and sensitive method for the analysis of organic compounds. This method is one good example of the application in analytical chemistry.
