Abstract
With the growth of internet applications, the users are increased more and more, the volume of the data transported has increased with the same trend。As the SONET proposed, the transport rate will be increased by mixing data as higher speed signal。This thesis will focus on the design and simulation of the front end circuit in the optical receiver,so as to meet the specification of OC-192,as well as 10Gb/s transport rate。The simulation for the circuit will focus on the bandwidth、transimpedance gain、and stability。We will use CMOS process technology to design circuit,in order to meet the specifications of the 10Gb/s high speed transport rate with less cost。 Besides,we will discuss how to use passive device to increase the bandwidth of our circuit in order to design higher speed transimpedance amplifier。
