Abstract

視訊編輯 Video Editing
We develop a video editing tool with a visualized user interface. This tool provides a method to construct a synthetic background from a few video frames. Users can change camera angle and movement, and integrate a foreground object into the synthetic background conveniently. The whole process consists of three steps: In the first step, we extract the foreground object using optical flow. The second step computes a panorama with several input background images by the Autostitch tool. This background panorama indicates projection information in every position, and therefore we project the foreground object onto this scene. The last step combines the foreground object and the background panorama based on the synthetic path of camera movement. The advantage of our method is that the whole process can be done without using 3D information. Our tool is hence much more efficient, and users can create a new synthetic video with different camera movement more easily using this visualized interface.
