Abstract
In this thesis, we present the rapid-prototyping development of a digital image capturing system. We develop the system including chip, board and software designs. In addition, we construct the environment for hardware diagnosis and verification. Using the system, the software designers can develop and verify various image processing algorithms, and assist the hardware designers to develop a better digital image capturing system.
