Abstract
In recent years, there has been a considerable interest in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in nanotechnology. The unique structure and special material properties of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) can be applied in electrical devices. DNA-template assemble have attracted attention in nanotechnology. In this work, we present the use of DNA biomaterial as template for growth Au nanostructure with phototriggered reduction of the Au salt precursor. We show the complex flower and sea-urchin shaped the Au nanostructures. Then we discuss the optical properties of Au nanostructures and the efficiency of DNA biomaterial as template. We also demonstrate the application of Au nanostructure as substrate for surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS).The unique surfacemorphology of Au nanostructure can enhance the efficiency of SERS, The enhancement factorfor Au nanostructure as substrate is 4.57*105. DNA biomaterial can not only used in DNA-template but also protect nanostructure like a stabilizer. The unique properties of complex Au nanostructures can get more application in design of biosensor in the future.
