Abstract
This thesis presents a design and implementation of an IEEE 802.11 multi-channel localization system in which users do not need to install additional software in their mobile devices or use specific devices. Under the localization system architecture in this thesis, if a user wants to locate his/her position, he/her only needs to connect to the web site of the localization system using his/her mobile device. We limit the packet collection time of this localization system in an appropriate range. By this limitation, we can increase the success rate of finding locations of users without affecting the efficiency of the localization system.
