Abstract

氧化銥 電極 加速測試 Iridium Oxide Electrode Accelerated Life Test
This thesis discussed the electrochemical characterization of implanted materials for the retina prosthesis. The suitable electrodes performance for retina prosthesis included enough charge delivery capacity (CDC), long-term lifespan stability. To study these requirements, electrode materials was sputtering iridium oxide thin film (SIROFs) with titanium nitride (TiN) thin films for a reference in electrochemical characterization measurement on the CMOS-like condition substrate. (0.7m SiO2 subtract) with gold electrode validated the accuracy of measurement environments. Their electrochemical properties were studied using surface and interface characterization techniques including cyclic voltammetry (CV), impedance spectroscopy (EIS), atomic force microscope (AFM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and accelerated life measurement test (ALM) and theoretical models. This thesis studied three sizes of electrodes for retina prosthesis application, which would provide deeper insight of retina prosthesis electrode selection and design.
