Abstract

二氧化鍺 奈米結構 合成二氧化鍺 GeO2 nanostructure synthesis of GeO2
Germanium dioxide (GeO2) nanowire is a blue luminescent material which can be used as optical nanodevices materials. Hence, researches about GeO2 nanostructures are more focused on the synthesis process of GeO2 nanowires. In this experiment, using thermal evaporation method, GeO2 with different nanostructures has been successfully synthesized. Rods-structured GeO2 are synthesized by heating the germanium substrate with or without 7.5 nm Au film depositions at 700 oC and TiF4 powder at 800 oC. Net-structured GeO2 are synthesized by decreasing the heating temperature of germanium substrate that coated with 7.5 nm Au thin film to 600 oC and TiF4 powder at 800 oC. Wire-structured GeO2 are successfully synthesized by heating germanium substrate coated with 7.5 nm Au thin film at 650 oC heating temperature. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) are used to characterize the morphology, crystallinity, crystal structure, and composition of the three types of nanostructure that have successfully been synthesized.
