Abstract
The “Gucheng Jiafu” are listed by the Shanghai Museum’ s collection of Warring States Chu Bamboo Slips (Vol.5), describing the elimination of Xi family in the Spring and Autumn period, It is also described by Zuozhuan and Guoyu, but the plot development and the point of view are quite different. The purpose of this paper was to discuss the interpretative possibility of history. This thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter One is the Introduction, including the research motivation, purpose, methods, steps and the literature review. Chapter Two discussed the shape, form and handwriting of “Gucheng Jiafu”. Chapter Three are divided by three section to analyze the unknown characters, including weishikexing（為士克行）, xunqiang（迅強）, fashixianda（伐是銛達）. Chapter Four discussed the characterization of Xi chou（郤犨）, Luan Shu（欒書）and Duke Li of Jin（晉厲公）, and analyzed the background of epoch, property of document, and the narrator’ s purpose. Chapter Five is the Conclusion.
