Abstract
This is an anthropological study of the Mongolian living around the 鳳凰山Feng-Huang Hill on Tong-Hai, Yuannan in Southwest China. It use field and statistic data collected among cadres, entrepreneurs, and peasants during three month of fieldwork. This study of entrepreneurship is concerned with economic performance of entrepreneurs, and particularly connected with the performance of societal type entrepreneurship- Lu-Ban Festival and Lao-Ling Association. In this essay the author attempt to construct the system of local welfare in the local context. This thesis follows the theory of praxis and gird/ group analysis developed by P. Bourdieu and M. Douglas respectively. In this thesis, author defined three meaning of entrepreneurship in different contexts respectively: first, the entrepreneruship is defined as ‘entrepreneur who was located the agency of social structure manipulated innovatively the social network in the limit of social context’ by bibliographical reviews; second, the entrepreneurship is defined as ‘ actor transferred to, combined with, and accumulate the diverse forms of capital through manipulating social work innovatively’ by the theory of praxis of Bourdieu; thirdly, the entrepreneurship is defined as ‘entrepreneur negotiated the cognition of actors in different status of social structure’ by the gird/ gorup theory of Douglas. By discoursing the entrepreneurship in different context, the aim is to explore the entrepreneurship of societal entreprenant organization or activity- Lu-Ban Festival and Lao-Ling Association- to contruct the system of local welfare in local context.
