Abstract
The elderly and the sports injured people are affected by muscle pain and muscle weakness in their daily life. For example, walking, climbing stairs, dressing. The objective of this study is aimed at the part of the lower limb. We fabricate dielectric elastomer actuator because of driven by electricity to create motion in the ankle orthosis. The dielectric elastomer actuator has different shape and size. The active motion in the ankle orthosis makes passive motion in the knee orthosis, because there is a steel line anchored with the two extremities. That goal is to recompense skill of walking and improve coordination of walking for the elderly and the sports injured people, besides, it promotes security of walking.
