Abstract
In this study, we propose Boolean delay equation to construct dynamic networks of signaling pathways and employs genetic algorithm to determine the time delay of model. We focus the signal transduction in TNF-α / TLR4 / IL-1 pathway, which play important roles in inflammatory response. First, we introduce a concept of signal transduction and various modeling approach. Then, we illustrate a genetic algorithm-based Boolean delay model and the workflow of this approach. Finally, we are able to identify key network components that lead to these properties and generate the parameter of model automatically. Through the investigation of different stimuli and simulated knockout prediction, we expect to give the in-depth knowledge with the signal transduction pathway.
