Abstract
In this thesis we propose the specific parabolic cylinder and paraboloid lamp reflectors for edge-lighting backlight module. We use RGB LED in replace of CCFL and build devices with optical simulation software TracePro. We analyze optical uniformity, irradiance map and chromaticity diagram by dot pattern design of optimization distribution according to different lamp reflector and compare with circular cylinder lamp reflector. We hope that this construction can obtain the high luminance, uniformity and the outstanding color mixing effect.
