Abstract
The helping behaviors are being discussed over many years, from psychology to sociology to understand the motivation and others direction of helping behavior. After many research study the motivation of the group, this research will explore the helping behavior from the structure and relation perspective. We used social network analysis to discover the helping behavior in the group; also, we used visualization to recognize the helping behavior. This research used real helping behavior on the internet to collect data. The main purpose of the research is to explore the helping behavior and observe the evolution in different month and discover the valuable members. Beside, visualize diagram can help the manager to identify the valuable member and the problem in the easily. Therefore, manager can plan the strategy to help the group growth. There are three conclusions in this research. First of all, the members and the group close level are growing rapidly. Secondly, monthly data with visualization can help manager find out the valuable members that can help the group growth. Last of all, Triad relation and Clique-overlap members have large percentage of pay it forward behavior; Clique-overlap members also have large percentage of continued helping behavior. As the result, we can increase Triad relation and Clique-overlap members that may increase pay it forward and continued helping behavior. Consequently, the manager in addition to focus on the two nodes relation, they can try to increase the triads’ relation and clique overlap members to help the group growth.
