Cloud computing is the hottest industrial today. Taiwan tends to enter the cloud computing industry for a higher profit. Cloud service provider company needs more and more storage systems for data storage in the cloud. Therefore, the quality of cloud storage system is extremely valuable and important for enterprise and customer. Enterprise should value product quality as top priority during New Product Development stage and have a correct mind set for robust design thought out each design phases. In general, new product are usually lead by R & D department and most of time they were escaped quality requirements which will resulting in poor products, and occur many problems in the field. This research proposed a method on how to enhance current new product development process, adding more quality inspection gates in each design phases for storage systems. This paper would like to focus on “Early Engagement" to implement concurrent engineering with all stakeholders and set an effective quality goal for product process control. Furthermore, build up a series of process inspection checkpoints as strict quality management tools to improve product quality in various stages of development. This can greatly reduce the problem occurs during mass product and reduce issues in the field at customer side. Moreover, in the long-term trend, those systems adapted this method has performed a better quality than those system using current existing product.
