Abstract
After the generation of VCD, comes the DVD generation. DVD has more 9 times of capacity than VCD in one sided disc. So its large capacity can contain mpeg2 video files and multi-channel sound track, and this makes many application of multimedia. DVD player and DVD-ROM are popular in recent years, so the lack of DVD pickup head is important. The pick head mainly consist of two device, one is PD (photodioe) the other is TIA （transimpedance amplifier), and two consist are called PDIC. In the past several years, the pickup head of DVD usually come from foreign, and they are made with BJT process, the price can't be down. So we want to design a PDIC use CMOS process, that's would be more cheaper.
