Abstract
As the business world getting more competitive, the effective knowledge management has become an important concern in the hi-tech industry.This research explored the hi-tech globalized collaborative product development, with an emphasis on the knowledge integration and intellectual capital management. Through a case study on a local semiconductor company’s SOC project, the research focused on the central activities related to integration of internal and external knowledge as well as management and exchange of intellectual capital to speed up new product development and enhance development capabilities.
