Abstract
In this thesis, the purpose of the research is to modify the efficiency of CIAS solar cells and continue the seniors’ research. During the experiment of selenization process, we analyzed the relationship between temperature or time or temperature rising rate and the characterization of CIAS film. We discovered the best XRD and Raman spectrum of CIAS film appeared when choosing a higher temperature rising rate of 50oc/min with selenization time of 50 minutes. I then applied this trend in both high-temperature and low-temperature two-step selenization.The best result was obtained when the final 10 minutes of two-step selenization was maintained at 550oC. We got the best efficiency of 1.96%, Voc of 0.37 (V), Jsc of 20.16 (mA/cm2), and Fill factor of 26% .
