Abstract
Adaptive tracking control design for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with unknown parameters is still a difficult problem to be tackled. In this study, the conventional Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system is transformed to an equivalent Takagi-Sugeno predictionmodel. Then an one-step-ahead adaptive fuzzy controller is developed to asymptotically achieve a desired output tracking. An optimal adaptive fuzzy tracking is also discussed in this work. Finally, the convergence of the proposed adaptive fuzzytracking algorithm is guaranteed under some condictions. Several simulation examples are also given to illustrate the design procedure and to confirm the performance of the proposed methods.
