Abstract
Many researchers consider that university-industry cooperation is one of the main factors which effect National Competitiveness. In the world, the most famous and successful example of university-industry cooperation is Silicon Valley in the united state of America. University-industry cooperation not only makes companies of the U.S.A. innovative constantly, but enables a large increase in national competition advantages. In Taiwan, the studies of the practical operation and management of university-industry cooperation are very rare, and until now, industies, government, and universities still haven’t had consensus. Therefore, the focus of this study is to clarify and establish the best university-industry cooperation practice through building an experimental flat-top building of university-industry cooperation and taking part in it. The study will take the example of U-Spin Platform in National Tsing Hua University, base on Yin(1994: 90-99)of the study, play a part in this project and make a record of this building in depth as well as make the observative analysis as an onlooker. Finally, the study will figure out the two potential problems of the building through the conclusion-the issues of members and technology, make some recommendations and propose the meaning of the practice.
