Abstract
In this dissertation we focus on a study of semiconductor fabrication inventory policy for reduce manufacturing and inventory cost. Five such inventory models are considered. The five ones consist of Modified EOQ model, Probability Inventory Model, Dynamic Production Function Inventory Model, Queueing Theory Inventory Model, and Marcov Chain Inventory Model . The different classification of semiconductor material and part that are discussed in this thesis, the thesis also addresses management issue of semiconductor fab inventory policy. We introduce traditional classification of material and part, and we providing some view point to group key part . The different model success to apply to different material and part . The fourth part to give an example to examines these models and inventory cases. A algorithm of inventory policy is presented and we were based on minimum inventory cost to find the optimal policy.
