Abstract
Abstract To deal with the problems and improve the environment, humanbeings make a good use of knowledge、 creativities and resource. This process we called it 「technology」. The main motive power of technology is the development of semiconductors. Responding to the growing technology, most of the companies in semiconductors supply chain use 「Moore’s Law」, which has been raised by a leading company, Intel, as the high level standard, striving for a better improvement on producing and decreasing cost to achieve the goal of differentiation. In recent years, more and more significant global companies such as Nokia (m)、General Motors fold up. Those are good lessons for us to think about why. How the leading company keep competitiveness, and build up new strengths. In this research, we choose the case of TSMC, applying the VCA (Value Chain Analysis) and 「Coopetition」(Competition、Cooperation) model to do the analysis. Also, with the theories in Transient Competitive Advantage, we try to see how do the company reconfigurated、disengaged、and changed the resources and organization during these thirty years. Make the company to be the top one in this industry by expanding the scale of development and construction.
