Abstract
This article focuses on the investment environment of Vietnam and ASEAN countries from the perspectives of Taiwanese businessmen with some in-depth interviews of Taiwanese businessmen who have been in Southeast Asia for many years. These interviews probed into the actual situations of Taiwanese businessmen investing in local works and their own observations, capturing relevant experiences in practical field. According to the interviews, we found that Vietnam does not only rank better than other countries in labor resources, but also is futuristic in terms of economic efficiency of the political situation and demographic dividend. These are the opportunities in Vietnam under the Southbound Policy.
