Abstract
Nowadays, energy conservation plays an important role in our life, thus the energy service company grows rapidly. ESCO in Taiwan started later than in other countries, it has not developed a mature business model. This study conducted case study to dig out the bottleneck of actual project and concluded key factors by three stages, including lack of trust in diagnosis stage, project fund shortage and incomplete bid progress in project stage, and inaccurate confirm data in confirmation stage. This study divided into two parts, the first part is to diagnose ESCO in Taiwan, and the second part is to provide advice. This study analyzed key factors of problem by components of business model to diagnose the key shortage of resource and progress in first part. The second part focuses on the key points to provide various solutions includes evaluation mechanism, index, or innovative business model. All solutions can be provided for ESCO in Taiwan and government affairs.
