Abstract
本論文從概念結構及詞彙化的觀點來探討台灣閩南語商業交易動詞的現象,透過解構的過程,作者建立起閩南語商業交易動詞的基本概念結構。 本論文共分為八章。 第一章首先定義何謂商業交易及回顧和本論文相關的文獻,第二章則介紹了構成本論文的基本理論架結構,例如概念結構、結構語法、框架語意學和語意角色等,第三章中,我們將閩南語商業交易動詞解構成更小的概念成份,他們具有共通的使動特性,但卻在其他特徵上有所不同,如選擇限制、交易時間、交易方向等,另外,我們也發現交易動詞的概念結構是有限的,而且是有規律可循的。在第四章中,作者對語意角色和表層結構的對應性作探討,發現其為一對多而非一對一的對應關係。在第五章中,作者依據Goldberg的理論架構來探討結構所能賦予動詞語意的性質,以'褪'和'割'為例來探討其語意延伸的情形。在第六章中,作者做了一個小規範的問卷調查來檢視台灣閩南語商業交易動詞的消失及其涵蓋的基本句型。在第七章中,比較閩南與和英語商業交易動詞在方向性,詞彙化及表層凸顯角色方面的相似性及相異處,藉由閩南語和英語的比較,我們可以得知,語言間之所以產生不同乃是起因於詞彙化過程的不同,而非底層概念結構的差異。最後,在第八章中對本論文討論內容做一個總結。The thesis is a study of the nature of commercialtransaction verbs in Taiwan Southern Min(henceforth TSM). Wewill discuss commercial transaction verbs in terms of conceptualstructure and lexicalization. By way of decomposition, we willset up the fundamental conceptual structure shared bythem. Thethesis falls into eight chapters. In chapter 1 we first reviewprevious works pertaining to the main concern of this thesis. Inchapter 2 we give an introduction to the theories which form abasis of the thesis, such as conceptual structure,constructiongrammar, frame semantics, thematic role, etc.. Next,we decompose commercialtransaction verbs in TSM into underlyingconceptual elements in chapter 3.They share the feature ofcausativity and differ in other characteristics such asselectional restriction, time of transfer, direction oftransfer, etc..In chapter 4, we discuss the correspondencebetween thematic roles and syntactic positions, a one-to-manybut not one-to-one correspondence. In chapter 5, followingGoldberg's framework, we explore the essence of constructionwhich can contribute a new meaning to verbs. In chapter 6, asmall-scale survey is conducted to examine the gradualdisappearance of certain commercial transaction verbs in TSM andfigure out the basic sentence patterns they involves. Then, wecompare commercial transaction verbs in TSM with those inEnglish to figure out similarities and differences inlexicalization andprofiled roles between them in chapter 7.Chapter 8 provides concluding remarks.
