Abstract
The research is related to the manufacturing of an image plate of computed radiography(CR). Single-layered slot die coating operation with a T-die was chosen to be a method of manufacturing of an image plate of computed radiography. Under proper control of coating parameters, phosphorescent material which is a suspensions with high solid content can form a coating layer on a PET substrate with width 10 cm. The phosphorescent coating layer has good quality after drying. The dry film thickness can be controlled in the range 100-150 μm and the uniformity can be controlled within ±10%.
