Abstract

目前的通訊系統,多半是設計給單一目的,如電話,電視或資料的傳輸.提供一個整合的通訊服務,且使用者有移動性的,對個人通訊服務無線網路是可預見的.基地台用廣播的方式傳訊息給使用者,而這裡我們所要討論的是可移動的使用者如何將訊號有效的傳給基地台的協定.目前審查無線行動網路的有效多工存取通道的協定正積極的展開. 設計給操作在多細胞無線,(資料) 網路的隨機取址輪詢協定,已知其滿足通道有效使用,可不需交換的漫步於細胞間,適用各種不同的實際層上傳輸等其他特性.考量系統穩定性與能力,我們為多細胞個人╱行動通訊網路,修正隨機取址輪詢成為多群隨機取址輪詢.在此論文中我們理論的分析多群隨機取址輪詢的性能,並有數值的結果.多群隨機取址輪詢,仍保有隨機取址輪詢的優點,且有更好的穩定性與性能.對無線網路是一個很好的通訊協定.為了在整合服務無線網路上有效的傳輸聲音影像等不同的資料封包,我們加入預留技巧於隨機取址輪詢中.這個新的通訊協定,稱為預留多群隨機取址輪詢.在本論文中,我們先評算此協定在聲音無線網路的性能.由於此協定的不敏感的特性,加上適用於多細胞的無線網路結構.對個人通訊服務而言,是很適合的多人多工使用通道的通訊協定.本文分為五章.第一章簡介;第二章討論多群隨機取址輪詢協定的操作步驟,並分析其效率與延遲時間;第三章討論多群隨機取址輪詢在多細胞無線網路的性能分析;第四章處理加入預留技巧於此協定中的新通訊協定,並檢視改變系統參數對性能的影響;第五章結論.An effective multiple access protocol for wireless (mobile)networks such as wireless LANs is under active investigation.Randomly addressed polling (RAP) designed to operate inmulticell wireless (data) networks was proposed to satisfychannel utilization, no handoff roaming, transparency todifferent physical layer transmissions, and other desirablefeatures. Taking system stability and system capacity intoconsideration, we further modify RAP to GRAP (group randomlyaddressed polling) for personal/ mobile communication networkswith multicell coverage. The performance of GRAP has beentheoretically analyzed and the numerical results are alsopresented in this thesis. GRAP with better performance andstability than RAP while keeping all the desirable features ofRAP is clearly one of the best candidates for multicellwireless networks. In order to efficiently support voice, data,image and other types of information in integrated servicewireless networks, we further adopt the reservation techniqueinto GRAP. This new protocol is known as R-GRAP (reservation-group randomly addressed polling). The performance of R-GRAP isfirst evaluated for voice wireless networks in the thesis.
