Abstract
Among themes of contemporary Taiwanese novels,” sexual trauma” had been neglected. By writing down” The Blood of Sun is black “and “The First Love Paradise of Fang-Sih-Ci”, the authors aim to raise the awareness about the issue of sexual trauma. How do the sexual violence and sexual harassment happened? How do the victims, the characters in the story, figure out what had happened on them? And how do they live with the sexual trauma for the rest of their lives? By analyzing these two novels, my intention on this master’s dissertation is to dig out more space for further discussion on sexual trauma.
