Abstract
The development of reliable, eco-friendly process for the synthesis of nanomaterials is an important aspect of nanotechnology today. In the past, by using Deinococcus radiodurans TSB CFB system, we’re been able to produce silver nano-structure including particles and wires. By controlling the concentration of silver ion, we’ve be able to produce silver nanoparticles only. Using Zeta sizer to assay the size and distribution of nanoparticles. Under 0.7 mM of silver nitrite, the silver nanoparticles have uniformed size without significant variation in size. At different stocks of CFB shows that silver nanoparticle size and particle number do not have specific variation. In applications, the antimicrobial activity of silver nanoparticles, we choose Deinococcus radiodurans TSB、Acetobacter aceti、E. Coli . These particles were shown to be an effective bactericide with different of concentrations of silver nanoparticles .These nontoxic nanoparticles, which can be prepared in a simple and cost-effective manner, may be suitable for the formulation of new types of bactericidal nanomaterials or other applications.
