Abstract
In the past decades the international trades and development have progressed tremendously in Taiwan. By cooperating with 3PL vendor, not only could the enterprises acquire more human resources assistance to enhance the internal efficiency, but could they reduce the operation cost to maintain the industrial competitive advantages. The purpose of this study is trying to figure out how and for what reasons Medtronic Taiwan, the company in this case, to evaluate and choose the adequate cooperation vendor in correspondence to the changes of external environment. Moreover, I attempt to apply the thinking process and systematical analyzing tools of Constraint Theory to understand what approaches and models been used when Medtronic Taiwan chose a better 3PL vendor 2 years ago.
