Abstract
Because of the advance of network technology, network can provide several new services. However, the bandwidth requests of new services are often larger than traditional services. For the sharply increasing of people using network, the resource of network bandwidth is always not enough. Therefore, we must develop good network management mechanism to improve the utility of network resource to get the maximum advantages. New algorithms have to be tested, before they are used in real system. Here, we provide a simulation system of broadband transfer network by eM-plant. People can compare the results between algorithms by this system. In this thesis we propose a simulation system which includes three models, bandwidth calculation, routing, and consent admission control. Bandwidth calculation model includes two algorithms, exponential model and self-similar model. Routing model includes three algorithms, LLR, STP and direct path. In addition, consent admission control model includes two algorithms, PCR and MSP. In experiment, we simulated 12 combinations of algorithms in fourdifferent network environments, and compared the results in this study.Key word: network simulation, routing, consent admission control
