Abstract
Digital watermarking technique has been proposed for many years to actualize copyright protection for digital data. Digital data can refer to audio, image, and video. In this thesis, we propose some method that generates a watermark, W, which is a set of independent and identically distributed Gaussian pseudo random signals that is embedded into the coefficients of the high-low band and the low-high band with –W at level 3 in a 3-scale wavelet transform. A watermark generation, insertion, extraction, and verification after a list of attacks of image operations such as scaling, smoothing, cropping, noise adding, JPEG compression, Fractal compression, and JPEG2000 compression by using Haar, Daubechies four, and 9/7 wavelet transforms on the image Lenna and Jet are domonstrated. The experiments show that our method is promising.
