Abstract
In nowadays the computer automatic machine drawing recogniton systems usually use the binarization map that be output directly by the scanner as its source.It has good binarized effect if the drawing is a BW map originally. If it is a blue print, we will get very bad effect. In this study, we research various method to improve the binarized effect. First we dicuss the effect that changing the colors will do, and try to find out the "best" color mask to filter the color of the map. Then we test various binarization methods to evaluate their binarized effect to the machine blue print, and propose a modified threshold of Kittler method.In the end, we propose a " line modificatory method" to modify the broken lines.
