Abstract

The development of modern turbine system is focused on the high speed rotor-bearing system, including dental hand-piece, portable micro-turbine generator, aviation turbine engine…etc. But, there are few papers for this respect. The paper, combined forefathers’ analysis experience, uses finite element method (FEM) to analyze and study the ball-bearing and the air-bearing dental hand-piece turbine systems. The object of the investigation is to develop a design and analysis method for the micro-turbine rotor-bearing system using finite element method (FEM), and utilize the experiment and simulation to analyze the model. And then we use DyRoBeS, and Matlab program to compare with past papers for verifying its dependability. Thereafter set up and analyze models about the dental hand-piece turbine system.
