Abstract
In this paper, we investigated the hydrogen storage properties of Mg + FeTi alloy with slightly Pd catalyst adding. The powder was prepared by high-energy ball milling under the argon atmosphere. In the different compositions of Pd ranged from 0.1% ~ 5%, the results showed the improving hydrogen absorption kinetics and higher storage capacities at 50℃ and 150℃ respectively. We also compared the different milling time of Mg alloys, better hydrogen storage characteristics were achieved with increasing milling times, which results from finer particle sizes and more structure defects.
