Abstract
Automatic attachment of BCNTs onto metal tip at solvent-air interface provides successful alignment of tube-tip assembly at ca. 60-70%. A lowest resistance is present when BCNTs are continuously bridging electrodes. Constant bending of BCNTs gives weakly backscattering of electron transmission, because primary conduction for p-doped nanotubes is switched to an extra-energy level near to valence band edge and electron hopping amplitude at bending 2Pz orbits no longer plays a crucial role in conduction mechanism. A compact contact between nanotubes and electrodes is large enough by calculation to neglect the contact resistance.
