Abstract
Abstract In the past decade, Texas Instrument has led the DLP technology and HTPS (3LCD) technology led by Epson. They have dominated the project market and formed a complete industry chain. And maturity seems to have entered the industry. The main reason of DLP technology quickly released was that the success of competitive strategy. For Epson, has successfully held the market sharing with the cost advantage and business model. But with the success of LED light sources used in the projector, and 3D technology as well as the HD single source began to mature. It creates four new projection technology markets where provides the new business opportunities for LCOS and Laser Scan technology. The study includes four projection technologies, competition strategies from the total nine micro-display vendors. We reviewed these companies’ competitive strategy, core competencies, and correlation between the external environment, which based on the perspective of the technological competitive advantage as well as market orientation, and plus the analysis of SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces analysis and so on.
