Abstract
The enhancement of the technology transfer of new products contains very complex knowledge, processes and communication. Performance of technology transfer can be measured the by the satisfaction of transfer process, improvement on skill levels of technology and product yield, etc. Solid State Drive (SSD) memory product is a new process and new technology transfer which encounters a great challenge in terms of production yield and productivity. This study is an empirical study which investigated the SSD product implementation of technology transfer process, using interviews and analysis of the key factors. By focusing on knowledge transfer and the transfer process problems the enhancement of technology transfer in terms of operation mode, organization, process flow and the work environment are analyzed and discussed. Consequently, suggestions which can enhance the effectiveness of the technology transfer base on the improvement mechanisms are provided.
