Abstract
Chromium (Ⅱ) ethylenediamine complex was prepared and its magnetic susceptibility measured at the temperature range between 77° and 293° K. It was shown that Cr (en)3SO4 to be more stable in vacuum toward gamma ray irrediation than Cr (en)3 Br2. The detection of radiolyses is made by means of Gouy method. From the decomposition curve we inferred that the sample and Gouy tube may have produced a lot of F centers. Blank tests were made with empty sealed tubes irradiated under the same condition.
