Abstract
In the age of e-commerce, all the information we need can be obtained from the Internet. Therefore, a new form of management should be established to cope with the issue concerning production and sales management. However, companies are still operating in the traditional way; they are still trying to handle the issue of uncertainly and production capacity by large amount of shortage and exceeding production capacity. Nowadays, the modern supply chain management emphasizes the concept of “ Just in Time (JIT)”. However, most of the suppliers meet the JIT requirement by keeping a large amount of inventory. The production costs of the suppliers and even of the whole supply chain, are therefore increased. Therefore, after reviewing the shortcomings of other methods, this research intends to bring up a production design pattern that meets the demands of enriching the varieties of products and of shortening the cycletime of delivery. In terms of research, it emphasizes on the design of “Production Planning and Scheduling Prototypes Design” and “Scheduling Logistic Design”. As for the design of prototypes, this research tries to combine assemble to order (ATO), 3-stage design planning, and 2-stage master scheduling to reflect rapidly the fluctuating needs of market. Concerning the design of scheduling logic, a synchronous manufacturing model based on the concepts of constraint-base and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) has been developed. In this model, the material and capacity constraint are considered synchronously. By this approach, the material and capacity inside a factory can be synchronously arranged to solve the problem of unpunctual delivery and superfluous storage.
