With the development of high technique, the mobile communication systems increased rapidly. The GSM system has already widely-deployed. Because of low data rate, the GSM can not satisfy customers in terms of data services. The GPRS system is an evolution of GSM system. The GPRS system can provide packet data services over the currently well-deployed GSM infrastructure.Because of low data rate and low bandwidth, the GPRS system can not satisfy customers in terms of multi-media. In order to provide high bit rates access and high bandwidth, the 3G systems are emerging. The 3G system seems to be the solution to the wireless multi-media networks. Because of complexity of 3G system and the lack of kill application, we don’t know exactly when the 3G system is available. On the other hand, the WLAN 802.11 has been well-developed. WLAN can provide over 11M bps which suitable for multi-media and the environment can be configured easily. So we proposed the Integration of WLAN 802.11 and GPRS cellular networks. That, we can access different networks with the same mobile device seamlessly. In order to provide guaranteed QoS, we proposed the QoS GPRS (QGPRS) and Full-Reservation Hierarchical Mobile RSVP (FRHMRSVP) on GPRS and WLAN respectively. Furthermore, we combined QGPRS with FRHMRSVP. We expect the integrated network can provide integral QoS.Besides, we also proposed a way of implementation to provide guaranteed QoS on the GPRS networks. This implementation is not the only way. We provided a possible solution. We have already implemented the Scheduling Mechanism and Bandwidth Negotiation Procedure on the ITRI/CCL GPRS simulator. We have demonstrated the scheduling mechanism and proved that the scheduling mechanism on GPRS can provide the QoS obviously.
