Abstract

毛細泵吸雙相熱傳 CPLtwo-phase
A capilllary pumped loop is a two-phase heat transfer device which utilizes the surface tension forces developed in a fine-pore wick to circulate the working fluid under zero gravity environment application.The objectives of the present study are:1.to design a simplified CPL(large and small scale)for ground application;2.to observe and discusses the heat transfer phnomenon;3.to determine the heat transfer limitation for varios temperature;4.to design a reservoir and discusses the the reservoir effect to the CPL. Experimental results indicate the performance of the large CPL is affected by the reservoir in many ways. The effect parameter of large CPL is that:1.start-up time;2.the operation temperature;3.the heat load sharing;4.the fluctuations;5.the deprime.The effect small scale CPL is that:1.the device is capable of dissipating 40W of thermal energy and keeping the surace temperature under 100 degree C;2.the device can transfer heat from the evaporator to the condenser through natural circulation;3. 50% inventory yield high heat transfer and low thermal resistance;4.the porous wick could be very efficient to isolate the vapor to the liquid head line without an occurrence of deprime phenomenon.A series experiments show that the CPL has the capability to remove heat for high power density device. For the demand in thermal management of electronic devices or mechanism, the application of a CPL become a possible choice in future.
