Abstract
本論文嘗試從語意學的角度出發，從而探討漢語各語言系統中溫度詞運作 的情形。本論文最大的目標，旨在釐清不同的語言體系中漢語溫度詞所指 與能指的組合關係。 本論文分為五個章節－1、理論基礎；2、溫度詞的 歷史演變及語意結構；3、閩方言的溫度詞； 4、溫度詞的語意擴張；5、 結語。第一章討論學理依據、研究方法與步驟。語義學把詞彙和詞義作為 一個系統來研究，從索緒爾(1959)開始，提出詞彙內部由能指和所指組合 而成符號，外部則和相關詞彙有聚合(paradigmatic)和組合( syntagmatic)關係。語言不斷變化，詞彙內部所指與能指的組合關係也隨 著時間、社會、地理因素改變而有所相應，形成詞彙結構古今不同或方言 差異。第二章由文獻資料探討各歷史時期溫度詞的發展、語意結構及溫度 詞的詞彙競爭與替代。我們從歷代文獻考察漢語各時期溫度詞的語意結構 和詞彙競爭。歸納出溫度詞的語意發展基本方向是由具象詞演變到抽象詞 。第三章討論閩方言溫度詞的語意結構與義域分布及詞彙競爭情形。我們 從方言比較的觀點，去考察閩方言□的溫度詞。透過閩方言群的比較，可 以看出溫度詞之間歷史的發展軌跡，我們討論閩南方言的溫度複合詞與重 疊式，發現國閩語之間最常見的溫度複合詞是並列複合詞，重疊式則皆以 AXX式最多。第四章由語意擴張的觀點探討溫度詞語意轉移的情形，其中 包括引伸與聯覺詞的分析。我們討論溫度詞在中醫、病理，體質關係的引 伸用法；古今漢語溫度詞在聯覺詞功能語義轉移的情形；也討論溫度詞受 到引伸用法影響，改變語意範疇與句法功能。第五章總結全文：溫度的概 念自古即有，但古今詞彙不同，語意範疇亦有所改變，這是社會、歷史、 地理等因素不斷演進的結果。 In this thesis, we present a semantic analysis of the temperature words in Chinese for the purpose of understanding not only the relationship between the signified and the signifier of each word, but also among a set of the words in a single linguistic system as well as among different linguistic systems. The thesis consists of 5 chapters： 1. the theoretical basis,2. the semantic development of the temperature words in Chinese, 3. the temperature words in Min dialects, 4. the semantic extension of the temperatgure words in Chinese, and 5. conclusions. Finally, we make the result of this thesis. That is, there are various combinations of the signified and the signifier of the symbol of themperature words in different linguistic systems in Chinese.
