Abstract

加馬射線碘化鈉偵檢器核種濃度
AbstractNatural radiation background in Wu-Chiu Island has been determined from field surrey and rock-core sample measurement. The research was divided into two major parts as follows: (1) to measure the radionucilde concentration contents in soil or rock samples by using the core sample technique and spectrometer consisting of a 4096 – channel pulse height analyzer and a HPGe detector. (2)field surrey were performed at 20 sites by using a TLD detector and a mobile spectrometer consisting of a 220 – channel pulse height analyzer and a 5cm.Φ x 5cm. NaI(Tl) detector . The concentrations of the radionuclides content in soil or rock were shown below, U238 series was 18.36±0.23 Bq/kg;Th232 series was 649.81±7.27 Bq/kg; K40 was 29.73±0.38 Bq/kg. The in situ counting rates of Bi214-609 keV(U-series); Tl208-2614 keV(Th-232 series) and K40-1460keV were 0.349 ±0.004 cps, 0.067 ±0.015 cps, and 1.62 ±0.015 cps, respectively. And The mean dose rate detected by TLD detector was 0.076 μSv/h. The consistency among three different survey methods are discussed in this work.
