Abstract

高分子分散液晶膜 環氧樹脂/硬化劑當量比 電光性質 溫度 PDLC epoxy oligomer/hardener liquid crystal electrooptic characteristics temperature
本文主要在探討添加液晶E63的環氧樹脂/亞克力樹脂雙官能性配方系統,經過紫外光與熱逐步硬化程序,所製備的高分子分散型液晶薄膜(PDLC)之電光性質及溫度對其電光性質影響。配方中採用三種環氧樹脂與硬化劑的不同當量比,液晶含量則為40wt%至60wt%。熱硬化條件之選擇乃依據示差熱分析(DSC)和熱重分析(TGA)掃瞄來判定。PDLC膜中液晶相分離程度和液晶粒徑、分佈情形,分別由DSC及SEM分析結果來瞭解,並以紫外光可見光分光度計,測量不同電壓下的穿透度變化。同時利用自製的加熱控溫裝置,探討不同溫度下之電光性質。實驗結果發現,經紫外光/熱逐步硬化的薄膜,除印加電場有明暗對比顯示效果外,也可以透過溫度的變化,達到熱切換顯示效果。In the research, the polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC)film was prepared and studied. Formulations used were a mixtureof epoxy oligomer, acrylate oligomer and E63 liquid crystal.The UV/thermal stepwise curing procedure were used to producePDLC film, and the electrooptical characteristics of film werediscussed in different formulations,including three differentstochiometric ratios of epoxy oligomer/hardener, threedifferent weights of liquid crystal. Then the film wassubjected to various ambient temperatures to observe electro-optic changes. The UV and thermal curing condition s weredetermined by the studies of DSC, TGA, respectively, The phaseseparation degrees of liquid crystal droplets in PDLC film werediscussed by DSC and the sizes of droplets were observed bySEM. Finally, the spectrophotometer was used to measure thetransmittance of PDLC film in the presence of applied electricfield in various temperatures. These suggest that a PDLC filmcan be used as a voltage and temperature sensing material.
