Abstract
In this thesis, new direct constructions of zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets from the generalized Boolean functions are proposed. Di®erent from previous results in the literature, our methods do not require other special sequences for the constructions. The sequence length, the length of the ZCZ, the set size, and the constellation size are all very flexible. Optimal and almost optimal ZCZ sequences can be obtained from the proposed constructions. In addition, a construction of perfect sequences is also provided in the thesis.
