Abstract
This research provides a systematic process for innovative products and technology strategy deployment which is much improved from the methodology originally developed by Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and Samsung. The contents of the process include (1) Review of business model and environmental analysis to identify strategical opportunities and threats then generating strategic evaluation criteria for later stage of opportunity identification, (2) Systematic identification of innovative products and services, (3) Opportunity Profiling, (4) Scenario Planning, (5) Strategic Roadmap deployment from market roadmap, product roadmap, technology tree, technology roadmap, technology acquisition plan, till project roadmap. The contribution of this research includes: (1) Providing a systematic process for innovative products and technology strategy deployment; (2) Adding environment analysis and systematic identification of innovative products tools to improve and optimize the existing process; (3) Establishing a set of systematic process and structured forms with examples and instructions to facilitate practical usage.
