Abstract
Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have held great potential for application in flat panel displays for many years. OLED devices based on phosphorescent materials can significantly improve electroluminescence performance because both singlet and triplet excitons can be harvested for light emission. This describes the synthesis and OLED devices of the red and greenish blue electrophosphorescence materials based on fluoro-substituted iridium complexes. We have found that these red and greenish blue electrophosphorescence materials have high external quantum efficiency and good electroluminescence performance have been attained according to these device data.
