Abstract

紫杉醇 X射線 中藥 轉移性肺癌 Taxol X-ray Chinese Herb Metastatic Lung Cancer
本研究旨在探討紫杉醇、X射線及兩種中藥治療實驗性肺癌。此研究的實 驗動物為ICR種系之雄性鼷鼠,經由靜脈注射,接種2×106個肉瘤180癌細 胞,在肺部形成腫瘤群落。透過量算動物的死亡率,平均存活時間,延長 壽命百分比及肺的腫瘤群落數目和大小等指標,來評估其療效。在X射線 治療組,並測定白血球總數及其分類計數。在紫杉醇單獨處理組中,療效 最佳的是總濃度60mg(30mg×2)組;而X射線單獨處理組中,療效最佳的是 總劑量 15Gy(5Gy×3)組。一般而言,X射線療效較紫杉醇要好。由白血球 計數結果可證明,所用的甘草及托裡消毒飲,均能幫助因受照X射線而下 降的白血球數目提前恢復。由實驗各組的結果並顯示:最佳的療效出現於 紫杉醇(30mg×2),X射線(5Gy×3)及托裡消毒飲之合併組,其60天內平均 存活時間及延長壽命百分比,分別是33.0±14.4天和38.1 %。 In this study, we attempt to evaluate the therapeutic effect with taxol, X-irradiation and two kinds of Chinese herbs on mice bearing experimental lung cancer. The animals, male mice of ICR strain are implanted intravenously with 2×106 sarcoma 180 tumor cells. The tumor colonies form in the lungs. We compare the therapeutic effect by mortality rate(MR), mean survival time(MST), increasing life span(ILS), the number and size of lung colonies. In the X-irradiated groups, we also estimate the total leukocyte counts and its differential counts. In the taxol treated alone groups, the best therapeutic effect is found in the group of TA60mg(30mg×2). In the X- irradiated alone groups, the best therapeutic effect is found in the group of RT15Gy (5Gy×3). Generally speaking, the therapeutic effect of radiotherapy with X-ray is better than chemotherapy with taxol. The results of leukocyte counts reveal that glycyrrhizin and To-li-sho-tu-ing help to recover the leukocyte counts in the X-irradiated mice. The present results of our investigated groups reveal that the best therapeutic effect is in the group treated with the combination of taxol(30 mg×2), X-irradiation(5Gy×3) and To-li-sho-tu-ing (TLSTI). The maximum MST60 and ILS60 value are 33.0±14.4 day and 38.1 %, respectively.
